Maple No Bake Cookies

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups Dark Pure Vermont Maple Syrup
1 Stick of butter
3 cups oatmeal
1 cup walnuts (optional)
1 cup coconut (optional)

Directions

Boil syrup and butter to soft-ball stage. Combine oatmeal, nuts, and coconut. Pour syrup over oatmeal mixture and blend well. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.
These aren't pretty, but they taste delicious! We do not use coconut.
